FAQ tattoos

  • DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

    In order to book an appointment for a tattoo, we kindly ask for a deposit to be paid before hand.

    This price can range depending on artist you are booked in with and overall price of tattoo.

    Once we receive your deposit, your appointment will be secure.

    ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE!

    If you wish to cancel or move your appointment please give 72 hours notice.

  • how old do i need to be for a tattoo?

    You must be at least 18 to get a tattoo.

    Please bring your ID - Failure to show a photo ID if asked to means you will be un able to get a tattoo.

  • can i bring someone to my appointment?

    Please come alone if you can, but you are welcome to bring someone with you if it would make you feel more comfortable! Please limit this to one person only, no groups and children.

  • how do i pay?

    We take cash and card at the studio for all services.

  • can i use numbing cream?

    We don’t recommend numbing cream as they are not all safe to use, please inform us beforehand if you are going to be using it.

FAQ piercings

  • how old do i have to be to get a piercing?

    Age restrictions follow =

    • 7 to 13 – Earlobes only

    • 14 & 15 – Regular piercings. (No tongues, nipples or genitals)

    • 16 & 17 – All piercings except genitals

    • 18 + – All Piercings

    Please present us with a valid picture ID with your date of birth visible (passport or driving licence preferable)

    If you are under 16 you will need a parent / guardian present.

  • is the body jewellery included in the price?

    Yes, all high quality implant titanium body jewellery is included in the price of the piercing.

    We also offer upgrade high end jewellery once the piercing is fully healed.

  • when can i change my body jewellery?

    You can change your body jewellery once your piercing is completely healed, please pop in and consult with our body piercer for an upgrade.

  • do you use a piercing gun or needle?

    We use disposable, single use needles exclusively as the piercing gun can’t be sterilised and is not safe.

  • what do i do if my piercing is infected?

    There can be different types of infection affecting your piercing. You need to come and see us or send us a picture of the affected area so we can advise you regarding treatment. In 90% of all cases you don’t need to remove your piercing, so please do not remove it before consulting with us.

FAQ laser removal

  • how long does it take to heal?

    It takes between four and six weeks for the treated area to heal, although this can vary.

    It is normal for the skin to be slightly blistery and itchy.

  • Can i get an allergic reaction?

    It is highly unlikely. We always do a patch test before going ahead with the treatment, after which you need to wait for at least five days to rule out any possible reactions.

  • how many sessions do I need to completely remove my tattoo?

    It depends on the tattoo. In order to remove a tattoo completely you might need at least six sessions. Please pop in and consult with our laser tattoo removal specialist.

  • Is it possible to remove colour tattoos?

    It is more difficult to remove coloured tattoos and you might need more sessions than for plain black ink.

    There is no guarantee for complete removal.

  • how long does a tattoo removal session last?

    A session last a few minutes, depending on the size of the tattoo you want to remove.

  • how long do i have to wait between two laser removal sessions?

    You have to wait 4-6 weeks until the skin regenerates.

  • can i cover the treated area with a new tattoo?

    After a few treatments when the ink fades and your skin heals completely you can tattoo the area with a cover up. We recommend this as after a few laser treatment sessions the faded tattoo can be covered easily.
